Andromeda Shaun is one of the Knights of Athena in Netflix's animated series SAINT SEIYA: Knights of the Zodiac. First taught how to fight by her older brother, Nero, and later trained on Andromeda Island, she is the Bronze Knight of the constellation Andromeda. Abandoned when she was little by her parents, her only relative is her older brother. Her signature technique is the Nebula Chain.

Appearance

Shaun is an athletic young woman in her mid-teens with shaggy green hair, emerald eyes, peach-colored skin, and delicate features. Her Andromeda armor is two tones of pink and features scalloped pauldrons over her shoulders. Her casual attire is a green shirt, white overalls, thigh-high black socks, and brown knee-length boots. She typically holds herself with a guarded, reserved stance both in and out of combat.

Personality

Shaun is a warrior dedicated to peace, justice, and the preservation of life, and as such does not care much for fighting or violence. Her Nebula Chains are symbolic of her nature: holding and binding her enemies and bringing them down with an electric shock rather than being used as weapons of war, they remain her shield. However, when pressed into battle, Shaun is collected, ruthless, and outright dangerous, holding nothing back in the defense of life.

Shaun is rather secure, knowing that she is among the strongest of the Bronze Knights despite comments regarding her place as the only female among those who assembled for the Galaxian Wars tournament.

Shaun is known to be playful with her friends and rivals, tending to tease them in moments of calm, such as pointing out Unicorn Jab's attempts to flirt with Sienna Kido.

Abilities and skills

• Cosmo manipulation: As a Saint, Shaun can tap into a power known as Cosmo. This power is described as being the primordial state of all matter released by the Big Bang, with everyone having the universe inside them. Shaun can manipulate the atoms of her own body to great effect to channel many supernatural powers and abilities not accessible to ordinary humans.
  • Superhuman strength: Shaun is capable of leaping dozens of feet into the air vertically without a running start.
  • Superhuman speed: Shaun's land speed is on par with that of a military-grade land vehicle.
  • Superhuman durability: She was capable of withstanding being blasted backward by her brother with enough force to pulverize solid rock and form an indentation in a boulder with a diameter slightly greater than the length of her body.
  • Superhuman agility: Shaun proved capable of moving at superhuman speed with enough grace and fluidity to manage moving through difficult desert terrain with ease.
  • Superhuman senses: Shaun was able to keep track of even Seiya's hypersonic movements at a distance of less than 200 feet and could track his Cosmo signature for miles.
  • Electrokinesis: With her Nebula Chains, Shaun can deliver an electrical shock of at least 10,000 volts.
  • Telekinesis: Through her armor, Shaun can manipulate and fight with her chains in a way that would baffle even master of the weapon.
  • Accelerated healing: Shaun's Cosmo allows her to heal from even life-threatening injuries.
• Master chain fighter: Shaun is a master of her armor's chains, using them for defense, offense, traversal, and immobilization.
• Skilled tactician: Shaun was able to discern the weak point in the Black Knights' armor with a glance and formulate a method to beat them even while being beaten to a pulp.
