Asgardians Soldier are a warrior corps serving Polaris Hilda and Asgard in the saga of the same name. Also appearing in the Movie, commanded by Dolbar.

They briefly make an appearance in the series.

They were chasing Thor, who usually goes deep into Hilda's lands to go hunting. On one of these occasions, he was exposed, and they aimed to kill him, but Hilda's intervention saved the life of Thor. When Hyoga infiltrated Valhalla Palace, a group of soldiers were responsible for their capture. Later, when Hyoga escapes with Freya, several groups of these soldiers were sent to find him. One group found him but cannot do anything against the Bronze Saints. Only one soldier was able to escape, carrying the news Palace.

Movie[]

At the beginning of the film, we see a group of these soldiers, chasing a mate, which reaches Siberia. Hyoga group faces and defeats him. The soldier who has escaped, badly wounded, seeks help from Hyoga. Throughout the film, they are seen performing escort duties and Hyoga search as it disappears to get to Asgard.

Soul of Gold[]

Under orders from Odin's high priest the Andreas Lise, and the God Warriors were sent to eliminate them. The Asgardian soldiers acted as their subordinates, helping them in their endeavors. This meant manly searching for Gold Saint and reporting it to their superiors. After the Gold Saints disspelled the barrier surrounded Yggdrasill, the Saints are confronted by an army of Asgardian soldiers. Using his power Loki raised an army of einherjar using fallen Asgardian soldiers, these are seen trying to attack Hilda while being guarded by Asgardian soldiers until being rescued by Sigmund.

Asgard Soldiers have an outfit similar to that worn by Sanctuary Soldiers, shield on the chest, and arms rodilas. The hulls of these warriors have horns, typical in the Nordic countries. They also carry a shield on his left arm.

Trivia[]

  • The group of soldiers was created for the second movie, and reused in the Asgard saga as inspiration for one another.
