Ethlinn loved her father, but was concerned about the violent clashes. Ethlinn gave birth to the god Lugh , and both ended up betraying Balor and it leads to death. This event led to bitter Balor back memories of her daughter and all his descendants. However, it is suggested that Ethlinn had no intention of betraying her father, and just wanted to end the atrocities committed latter.
