The grim reaper is a member of the Faceless. He is a composed individual who enjoys killing humans. Besides the normal powers of the Faceless, he has the power to cut the silver cords (銀の糸,Shirubā Kōdo?) of his victims, a power used by the infernal god Pluto.
He surfaced in Shinjuku, Tokyo, in the 21st century, to kill a businessman near Hikarigaoka Hospital. Yoshino Hino and Capricorn Shura were in that hospital at the time, and the Faceless tries to kill the girl, despite Shura's presence. She is saved by Virgo Shun, who engages and kills the Faceless.
