The mummies are minor characters in Megumu Okada's spin-off series, Saint Seiya: Episode G.
The mummies confront Lynx Retsu, Lizard Misty and Miko Hasegawa in Egypt, having been returned to life as a consequence of Kronos's power interfering with the normal flow of time. They are too strong for Retsu to stop and require Misty's intervention. In the end, they are defeated by the Sliver Saint's special attack technique, the Mavrou Trypa.
