The Ophiuchus Cloth is the cloth of the Ophiuchus Odysseus in Saint Seiya: Next Dimension. It was deemed too powerful and the Gold Cloth's full powers were sealed away by the gods, downgrading it into the Silver Ophiuchus Cloth.
History[]
The Ophiuchus constellation represents the healer Asclepius, a son of Apollo and the human princess Coronis. He was trained in medicine by the centaur Chiron, and was known for carrying a rod with a snake wrapped around it. He was a gifted healer, but was struck down by Zeus when Asclepius figured out how to bring the dead back to life, something the god Hades complained bitterly about. At Apollo's insistence, Asclepius was raised into the heavens as the Ophiuchus in tribute.
