However after meeting Subaru he starts to realize how important friends and having someone to protect is. Then later in their fight with Saturn he tells Koga that he is glad to have met him and fight by him. Eden could be considered similar to Phoenix Ikki in both appearance and personality.

Chronology (Mars-Hen)[]

Childhood[]

From The time he was young, Eden has been intimately connected with the army of Martians. He is a son of Mars, and plans essential to the war god. It has always created together with other Martians.

The True Athena should serve as the foundation of this new world, where Eden would be the king and protector of this New Athena . After hearing his father, Eden swears allegiance to Mars, and promises to make it possible for the purpose of his father to be reached.

while still young, Eden met Aria, who had also been raised since childhood with the Martians. They created a bond of friendship, Eden being the first friend Aria had ever had.

At the tournament, Eden, even with the elemental disadvantage, easily wins Corona Borealis Dali with one blow. Along with Dragon Ryūhō, he is a favorite of the public to win the tournament. His second fight is against Apus Paradise, and again he wins easily, qualifying for the semi-finals.

His next opponent would Pegasus Kōga, but before the fight could occur, the Palestra is attacked by martians. Realizing the situation, is seen leaving the Arena.

Later, Eden trains with Leo Mycenae, being able to withstand one hundred blows of the Gold Saints fists. Leo Mycenae tells Eden that is much more powerful than the Bronze Saints who stormed the Babel Tower, but Eden is frustrated that they have been able to take Aria and decides to quit training for the day.

Seiya's Message[]

He decides to talk to his father Mars, hoping that Aria might have a little more freedom, and to question why the destruction of the Palestra was needed. Mars, however, tells Eden that being too nice is a weakness. Eden agrees with his father that he needs to have no weaknesses.Later, in the chambers of Aria, Eden asks Aria what her desire is. She responds that her desire is to go to the Thunder Ruins.

Thunder Ruins[]

Even though the intention of Aria was to destroy the core of the thunder ruins, Eden realizes his own desire to go there. Soon, Kouga and Ophiuchus Shaina (Omega) also come to the ruins. There, Eden and Koga fight, the struggle this time is much more balanced, with Kouga able, somehow, to rival Eden. Because of Koga, Eden can not prevent Shaina, with the help of Aria, destroying the nucleus of thunder, whose crystal falls into the hands of Eden. Overcome with anger, the darkness takes a hold of Eden, but before he could fight Koga, darkness takes over the site and swallows all the Bronze Saints and Hornet Sonia.

Darkness Ruins[]

Tormented by her own darkness of being used as an instrument of destruction Aria resolves to use her Light to protect those who need her, in doing so she reaches both Eden and Kouga from their darkness and all reach the Core of Darkness. Aria then along Kouga obtain the Core of Darkness. Mars then takes the staff along with Aria's light before departing with Sonia and an horrorized Eden. Eden feels even more weak when he realizes that nothing has changed, and he was never truly able to help her.The real Medea comes by to tell Eden of Kouga's dark powers, telling him that both she and Mars believe that he must either obtain his powers or surpass them. Eden wonders what good power is when he wasn't even able to protect Aria. He see another "magic" flower petal and chases it to see if he can be given another glimpse of Aria.Eden asks Mycenae if he thinks it's wrong for Saints to fight each other. Eden isn't willing to attack, likely knowing just how wavering his cosmos is, so Mycenae attacks him first, making Eden use all his power to defend.Eden sees an image of Aria's bloody body as he falls and catches himself. He rebounds quickly towards Mycenae and strikes at him, finally getting some of the anger towards his father out of his system. He finally fights through the one question that's been haunting him since the incident: Why did Aria have to die? He finally realizes that maybe his father made a mistake.

At his limit, Eden finally sheds tears over this, the surrounding area into the beautiful, flower-covered scene that Aria created with Kouga the night Eden took her away. He watches the young, transparent Aria smile and play happily in the colorful field, and realizes that she's never smiled like that in front of him before. Eden comes to understand that this is what Aria was fighting so hard to protect, and that she's asking him to take her place and fight for it as well, which he decides right then to do for her.

Techniques[]

Folgore Renaissance (フォルゴーレ・ルネッサンス, Forugōre Runessansu, lit. "Renaissance Glare"): Eden launches a strong punch with his left hand with his left fist full of Cosmos Lightning element. In Saint Seiya Omega Ultimate Cosmo, this attack is manifested as a shower of lightning that revolve around Eden beating his opponent wherever you are.

Tonitrui Saltare (トニトルイサルターレ, Tonitorui Sarutāre , lit. "Dance of Thunder"): Eden creates several spheres of energy that launches toward the target with great force. The defensive use is to create a unique sphere between Eden and his enemy so if that person touches the sphere, they are rejected violently.

Tonitrui Fera Caelos (トニトルイフェラカーラス, Tonitorui Ferakārasu, lit. "Furious Thunder Sky"): Eden creates six areas of energy around him, then fly to a high point in the sky and download its attack on its aim of six powerful electric rays emerging from fields, causing a huge explosion.

Hilia Mastira (ヒーリア・マシティーラ, Hīria Mashitīra): Eden creates lightning raining down on the target and the surrounding area.

Towano Tornado (トワノ・トルナード, Towano Torunādo): Eden creates a huge and powerful tornado winds surrounding the opponent. Once inside the tornado, the opponent is also bombarded by lightning.

Orion's Devastation (オリオンズデヴァステーション, Orionzu Devasutēshon): One of Eden's most powerful techniques. Eden concentrates all its Cosmos in his left fist, then hit the ground hard, causing a huge explosion.

Orion's Extermination (オリオンズ・エクスターミネーション, Orionzu Ekusutāminēshon): Eden invokes lightning falling from the sky above him. Then that energy is concentrated in his hands, creating a sphere of energy that then explodes in the form of an electric beam that moves towards the opponent.

Orion's Spiral Thunderbolt (オリオンズスパイラルサンダーボルト, Orionzu Supairaru Sandāboruto):

Orion Plasma (): Eden concentrates power in his right fist, raising a sphere of electric energy at a distance, to attack his opponent.

Orion Sphere (): Eden creates a magnetic field of power against itself. The sphere causes no damage to his opponent, but it does attract the opponent towards it, allowing Eden to attack.

Noir Big Bang (lit. Black Big Bang) : Eden concentrates his hands to create a sphere of electricity, which is then launches into the opponent. The sphere grows to the height of a person, and hits the opponent with powerful electric shocks.

Trivia[]

  • Following Aria's death and betrayal of his father, Eden's hair permanently changes from teal to a faded mint color. This is due to a common Japanese myth that extreme grief causes one's hair to turn white. His eyebrows do not change in color however.
  • Eden was the only Bronze Saint in the first season of Omega to not receive a modification to his original cloth prior to the second season during the Twelve Temples battle. Presumably, the enlarged gauntlet on his left arm would indicate his cloth had already been modified prior to the start of the series.
  • It is unknown how Eden fixed his Cloth during the battle against Pallas, as Kiki met Eden for the first time when the Gold Saint arrived at Pallasvelda to fix the Cloths of Koga and his friends, meaning that Eden may have got his Cloth fixed by someone else or by his own demigod-Cosmo.
