Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - The Myth of Hades (聖闘士星矢 THE LOST CANVAS 冥王神話, Seinto Seiya: Za Rosuto Kyanbasu - Meiō Shinwa) is a manga by Japanese author Shiori Teshirogi. It is part of the Saint Seiya franchise by Masami Kurumada. The plot takes place in an alternative timeline to the Saint Seiya and Saint Seiya: Next Dimension story.
First serialized in the magazine Weekly Shonen Champion between August 24, 2006, and April 6, 2011, the series was later compiled into 25 volumes by Akita Shoten. The first volume was published on December 8, 2006, and the last on May 6, 2011. It was followed by the Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - The Myth of Hades Gaiden manga series, which began publishing in 2011.
In 2009 and 2010, the beginning of the story was adapted into an OVA series by TMS Entertainment. Production was cancelled after two seasons, totalling 26 episodes, leaving the adaptation incomplete.
