Saro[2] (サロ, Saro), or Salo[3], is the youngest of the three disciples of Aldebaran of Taurus during the Holy War between Hades and Athena in the eighteenth century, only in the alternative version of the story, The Lost Canvas.

History[]

Saro lost his parents at a young age, having lived on the streets with Teneo and Salinsa , until Taurus Rasgado found them and took her to his house with other children in similar circumstances. At the start of Holy War, Taurus Rasgado leaves his normal life to become Gold Saints, and therefore has to leave the children and home. Saro, with Salinsa and Teneo, decide to become apprentices to continue living with Taurus Rasgado, so traveling with him to the Shrine.

After the battle between Taurus Rasgado and Bennu Kagaho , Saro and the others are attacked with Pegasus Tenma during a workout, staying asleep for technique Sonar Nightmare of Bat Wimber and, upon awakening, find that Taurus Rasgado has been killed by Dullahan Cube . Although learning Salinsa leaves after the ordeal, Saro continues his training with Teneo. He later dies during the assault to Hades Castle.
